Asia Travel BlogKunming, ChinaKunming, Yunnan Province's mile high city, is air conditioned by nature. It just never gets above 80F degrees there, and at night it's usually a comfortable 65F outside. The city is filled with gardens, parks, temples, and history and is surrounded by the cultural mish-mash of the region's Tai and Tibeto-Burman tribes. Marco Polo liked Kunming. You will, too. And it is a great place to Beat the Heat in Asia this summer.
