Asia Travel BlogLijiang, China - Headwaters of the Yangtze River The city of Lijiang, in China's Yunnan Province, is in rare company. It is one of the few cities in the world with a population of over one million people at an elevation of more than a mile above sea level. And Lijiang has a long history.
