Edathua Church in India's Kerela State hold the feast (and festival) of St. George each year. This year the event started on April 27 and runs for 11 days. The church is about 15 miles from Alappuzha, on the Pamba River in southern Kerela. Edathua Church was built in 1810 and resembles a medieval Europen church. The most important events of the festival take place near the end, on May 5-7.
