Incredible Journey

Used to be if you were a North Korean and you were unhappy with your lot in life you could just sneak across the border into China and make your way to the South Korean embassy in Beijing -- and then defect. The journey was five or six hundred miles as the crow flies. But Beijing has clamped down; and now refuges from North Korea are having to make it to Ulan Baator in Mongolia or to Hanoi in Vietnam. According to the Agence France Press, about 100 a week are successfully making that trip...
