Greg Cruey has over 10 years experience in the Pacific and Asia, traveling, living or working in many Asian nations including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Nepal, and the Philippines.
Experience:
Much of Greg's time in Asia has been spent in the service of an organization which, among other things, helped manage refugee camps in Thailand and provided medical services in rural areas of the Philippines. His job included the study of regional politics, culture, medical issues, and language. He has been writing since 1976 and has worked for quarterly, weekly and daily publications as a writer, reporter and editor.
Education:
Greg is a graduate student at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia; he holds a masters degree in education from Marshall and is currently studying educational disabilities. He studied general linguistics, Chinese, and Indonesian at the Australian National University in Canberra and did his undergraduate work in the social sciences at Augusta State University. He has also studied counseling - at University of the Nations in Kona, Hawaii.
