Yerevan is the capital of Armenia. The city has a population of 1.2 million - about one third of the nation's residents. It is a city rich in culture and history...
The United Nations Development Program has a rather artistic clickable map of Yerevan online. It divides the city into 16 enlargable districts. But while it is pleasant to look at, it is not always easy to read. The United Nations Environmental Program has an environmental map of Yerevan showing green zones, industrial areas, lakes, parks, etc.
Armenian Teens Dot Com has a total of five maps available, including three national maps, a primitive map of Yerevan's subway system, and this large map of Yerevan. The large map is perhaps the best street map of the Armenian capital online.
Tour Armenia has several detailed maps of sections of the city available online, each with several dozen marked locations, including cafes, shopping, bars, and even dentists offices:
- Upper Mashtots (581 Kb)
- Central Mashtots (340 Kb)
- Lower Mashtots (311 Kb)
- Kaskad (365 Kb)
- Moskovian/Isahakian from Baghramian to Nalbandian (557 Kb)
- Khandjian/Manukian/Kochar from Nalbandian to Tigran Mets (450 Kb)
Cilicia.com has an excellent clickable map of the city's attractions. Links take you to pictures and write ups on Yerevan's churches, galleries, etc. It's worth mentioning here that they have a similar national map.
Enjoy Yerevan...
